The short version: Amazing Art Adventure has no user accounts, no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising, and we never sell or share your data. We don't collect personal information like your name or email. The only data that ever leaves your device is a randomly generated ID and your store purchase receipt, used solely to verify your subscription. Your notes, photos, and location stay on your device.
Who We Are
Amazing Art Adventure is an educational art exploration app created by Amazing Art Adventure LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). The app is designed for art enthusiasts, students, and learners ages 13 and up.
Age Requirement
The App is intended for users ages 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will take steps to delete any personal information associated with that user. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at info@amazingartadventure.com and we will promptly delete that information.
Information We Collect
We follow a minimal data collection approach.
Stored on your device only (never transmitted): Your progress, bookmarked artworks, personal notes, theme preferences, photos you add to your art journal, and other settings are saved locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted automatically.
Location (on your device only): If you use the museum trip features and grant permission, the app uses your device's location to show museums near you. Your location is processed entirely on your device to calculate distances and is never sent to our servers or to any third party.
Subscription validation (the only data we receive): To manage premium subscriptions, the app generates a random identifier the first time it runs and stores it on your device. When you subscribe, this identifier and your store purchase receipt are sent to our server for the sole purpose of verifying your subscription and granting access to premium content. This identifier is randomly generated — it is not your advertising ID or a hardware/device serial number — it is never used for tracking or advertising, and it is never shared with third parties.
Content requests: The app connects to our server to load artwork images, exhibition information, and 3D models. These are content downloads and do not include your name, email, location, or any tracking parameters.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information, and we have no user accounts. We do not collect your advertising ID, hardware or device serial numbers, or fingerprinting data; we do not access your microphone, contacts, calendar, or messages; and we do not collect browsing history, usage analytics, or behavioral profiling data. Your location and any photos you add to your journal stay on your device and are never transmitted to us.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, third-party analytics services, or advertising networks of any kind, and we never sell your data.
In-App Purchases
Premium features are available through Apple's App Store or Google Play. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple or Google — we do not receive or store your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. A confirmation step is presented before any in-app purchase is made. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle purchase data.
Third-Party Services
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs. The only third-party services involved are:
Apple App Store & Google Play: Process optional premium purchases. Their privacy policies govern purchase data.
Google Cloud Storage: Serves artwork images and exhibition data. No personal information is transmitted.
Google Maps SDK: Displays museum locations on-device. Location rendering occurs entirely on your device; no location data is sent to our servers.
AI content service (xAI / Grok): Our server uses an AI service to help generate educational descriptions and imagery for artworks, based on publicly available museum information. No personal data and no content you create in the app are sent to this service.
If we introduce new features in the future that involve additional third-party services, we will update this privacy policy accordingly.
Data Security
All communication between the app and our servers uses TLS 1.2 or higher encryption. All API requests are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. No personal information is transmitted in plain text. On-device data is protected by your device's built-in encryption.
Data Retention
We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on our servers. On-device preferences persist until you uninstall the app or clear app data through your device settings. In-app purchase receipts may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and audit compliance.
Your Rights
Because we collect minimal data and maintain no user accounts, most privacy rights are exercised directly through your device (uninstall the app or clear data through Settings). If you believe we hold any personal information about you and wish to request access or deletion, contact us at info@amazingartadventure.com and we will respond within 30 days.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws grant you specific rights regarding any personal data we process:
- Right of access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — request deletion of your data
- Right to restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a portable format

Our legal basis for processing the limited data we collect is your consent (where applicable) and our legitimate interest in providing and improving the App. We are not currently established in the EU; if a European Representative is required by law for the volume of EU users we have, we will appoint one and update this section. To exercise any of these rights, email info@amazingartadventure.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Because we collect no account-level personal data and process in-app purchase receipts only through Apple and Google (who act as independent data controllers for payment processing), the practical scope of these rights against us is narrow — most data we process is on-device and never transmitted to our servers.

If we change this privacy policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. For material changes, we will provide notice through the app. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
